We acquire commercial rights. The data stays yours.
We acquire commercial rights to a company's records for research and training purposes, in our own name, exclusive or non-exclusive. Like a music publisher, we hold the rights, not the work: the data always belongs to the company. We use those rights in our own research, or license them on to our partners.
